Obit. Byron Richard WALKER, born Aug. 14, 1874, five miles n.e. of Batavia; died at the Hotel Grand at Mackinac Island, Mich. Sept. 7, 1923, age 49 y. 23 d.

In the year 1893 he was married to Mertie SMITH. Two children, Carl of Batavia and Mrs. Otis DEAN of Ottumwa.

Leaves wife and children, and brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary BEST of Glendale, Calif,; Mrs. Lizzie DeGOOD of Nevada, Mo.; Mrs. T. J. LIDDLE of Cropseys, Ill.; Thos. L. WALKER and David WALKER of Batavia. Two brothers, Michael and Wm., and one sister, Susan CAMPBELL, having preceded him in death.
