Mrs. C. L. WALKER died Thursday morning, Mar. 1. Susan GRAY was born in Jefferson County near Batavia Oct. 30, 1858; married C. L. WALKER Feb. 3, 1875. They made their home on a farm in the same neighborhood until Mr. WALKER entered the ministry of the Christian Church.
Her husband preceded her in death by about a year... Five children preceded her in death also. Survived by: Mrs. Anna COLVARD of Cedar Rapids, Ross G., publisher of the "Fairfield Tribune", Rulie, Mayme and Guy who made their home with their mother. Ten grandchildren also survive. Interment by the side of her husband in the cemetery at Batavia.
