BATAVIA. Manly PRATT, 88, died Thurs. at his home in Batavia of an apparent heart attack. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial in Batavia Cemetery.

Born Sept. 15, 1882, at Stockport, son of Porter and Adeline JOHNSON PRATT. Reared and educated in the Stockport community and was a resident of Van Buren County until he moved to Batavia 30 years ago. Farmed most of his life.

Married Hazel SHAMPNOI Feb. 14, 1914, at Kirksville, Mo.; she survives, also three sons: Richard "Mike", Lockridge; Bert and Porter, both of Batavia; three daughters, Mrs. Sam DOVICO, Batavia; Mrs. Herbert JACOBSON, Fremont, Neb.; and Mrs. Gerald HOCKING, Hooper, Neb.; 20 grandchildren, 20 grgrchn, three brothers, Worthy, Ira and Jim, all of Stockport. Preceded by two sisters, three brothers and one grandson.
