GEORGE PEEBLER, 45, DIES SUDDENLY. Batavia. George E. PEEBLER, 45, Batavia, died Sat. p.m. of heart attack while fishing at Lake Darling State Park. Teacher in the Batavia and Cardinal Community School Districts for the past 14 years. He was in a boat on the lake with members of his family when he was stricken. Campbell Funeral Home. Bur. in Batavia Cemetery.

Born Feb. 11, 1923, in Jefferson County, son of Glen and Verla COLTON PEEBLER; grad. Batavia HS and Parsons College. He also taught at Pleasant Plain before joining the Batavia school faculty.

Married Geralding KITCHEN July 4, 1942. Surviving are widow and three children: Mrs. Sharon McCLEARY, Batavia; Andrea and Jean Ann, at home. Also surviving are one grandson, his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Glen PEEBLER, Batavia; a half brother Larry PEEBLER, Batavia; three stepsisters and three stepbrothers. Veteran of World War II. Member Batavia Meth. Ch.
