Henry L. OGDEN was born in Huron County, Ohio, Nov. 10, 1839, and came to Iowa with his parents in 1847.

Jan. 31, 1861, married Susan M. CALDWELL. Six children, two daughters and four sons. Three of them with the aged wife have preceded him. Living: Mrs. W. E. BRADSHAW of this city; Mrs. H. P. DURR of Ottumwa, and W. C. OGDEN of Burlington, nine grandchildren and 3 grgrchn.
