NEHRE. Elizabeth NAU was born Sept. 9, 1855, in Roth, Germany, and died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Emma PARRETT of Batavia, Iowa, Aug. 10, 1928, age 72-11-1.

In 1883 she came to America and made her home with her uncle, Mr. ZULAUF of Ottumwa, Iowa. In 1885 married Mr. Earnest NEHRE of Ottumwa, where they lived until Apr. 1, 1897, when they moved to Batavia.

Five children: Mrs. Emma PARRETT and Fritz NEHRE of Batavia; Mrs. Elizabeth STERNER of Agency, and Carl NEHRE of Kirksville, Mo. The youngest child, Mrs. Marie HAYWOOD, died Apr. 13, 1927. Nine grandchildren. She leaves husband, one brother, Konrad NAU, last heard of in Oklahoma, and four cousins in America, Mrs. Anna RUGG of Ottumwa, Iowa; Mrs. Margaret WEISSHAR and Henry ZULAUF of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth ULRICH of Kansas City, Mo. Lutheran Church, then Methodist. Batavia Cemetery.
