MORRISON Rites Will Be Friday

Last rites for Walter R. MORRISON, 60, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.

MORRISON died suddenly about 12:38 p.m. Wednesday when he suffered a heart attack while eating lunch at Woody's. The fire department with its emergency equipment was summoned, and he was taken to tthe (sic) hospital by ambulance but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Walter R. MORRISON was born May 11, 1907, at Batavia, the son of Charles A. and Martha Jane CLARK MORRISON. He was reared and educated in Batavia, and was a car salesman for Boldt Chevrolet-Olds at the time of his death.

He was a veteran of World War II, member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and the Walton Club. The family home is at 409 W. Adams.

MORRISON is survived by his father, Charles A. MORRISON, Batavia; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel PRUDER, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Grace JOHNSON, Batavia; five brothers, Henry, Claypool, Ind.; Elmer, Batavia; Verner, Bakersfield, Calif.; Arnold, Costa Mesa, Calif.; and Charles Jr., Milwaukee, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one sister.
