BATAVIA. Mrs. Powel D. MORLEY, 76, died today at Jefferson Co. Hospital. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia.

The former Emma Martha FANSHER, born Apr. 6, 1887, in Wapello County, daughter of John and Ella CAMPBELL FANSHER. All of her life was spent in the Batavia area; married Powel D. MORLEY Dec. 31, 1907.

Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Lee CARR and Mrs. Melvin SHIPLER, both of Batavia, also nine grandchildren, nine grgrchn, and two sisters, Mrs. Fritz NEHRE and Mrs. Laura LAUGHLIN, both of Ottumwa. Member Batavia Methodist Church.
