BATAVIA. Glenn H. MILLER, 48, Philco employee, died at his home in Batavia suddenly Wed. evening. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia.

Born July 18, 1917, in Wapello County, son of Charles and Ollie FULLER MILLER. He lived his entire life in and near the Batavia community. In 1937 he was married to Irene GRINSTEAD in Batavia. Member Abingdon Christian Church, veteran of World War II.

Survived by wife, two sons, Melvin C. MILLER of Ft. Collins, Colo., Michael, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Joan VAN BLARICOME, Mrs. Janet BALDRIDGE and Mrs. Marilyn DAGE all of Batavia, Judy and Lisa at home; his father, Charles MILLER of Blakesburg, four sisters, Mrs. Katherine MILLER of Batavia, Mrs. Edna LONGERBONE of Des Moines, Mrs. Helen PETTIT of Des Moines, and Mrs. Phyllis SPANIER of Richland, and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one infant daughter.
