Rollie W. MARING, 73, Brighton, died Tues. night at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. Batavia Cemetery.

Born Sept. 22, 1888, at Batavia, son of Walter and Florence SKIRVIN MARING. Most of his life was spent in Jefferson County. Veteran of World War I and member Brighton American Legion. His wife died in 1944.

Surviving are three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Carl ORMAN, Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. Leona SMIT, Lucerne, Mo.; and Mrs. Sam KITCHEN, Brighton; and Charles MARING, Bettendorf.
