Louis L. LIPPS, 77, former resident of Batavia, died Wed. night at Jefferson County Hospital. Had been living in Fairfield at the Hotel Hunt for several years.

Formerly employed by Burlington RR as agent, and had lived in Batavia after his retirement. LIPPS was born May 1, 1888, in Whitley Co., Ind., son of James and Clementine ATHEY LIPPS; married Inez FISHEL on Oct. 25, 1911; she died in 1959.
