BATAVIA. Mrs. Ida Harriet LAWSON, 95, former resident of the Batavia community, died Wed. at the Sweatt Nursing Home in Ottumwa. Bur. Batavia; Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Born Aug. 6, 1867, in Wapello County, Iowa; dau. of John and Martha FLEENOR FANSHER; Oct. 22, 1885, married James Elmer LAWSON and they farmed in the Batavia area until retirement in 1944. At that time they moved to Ottumwa. Lifelong member Meth. Ch.

Surviving are two sons, Alfred, Ottumwa, and Donald, Cleveland, and one daughter, Anna M. LAWSON, Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1959 (sic - 1958); one son, two brothers and a sister.
