MRS. H. KRAMER DIED AT HOME IN BATAVIA

Life long resident of community succumbs after prolonged illness

Mrs. Henry KRAMER, 72, prominent resident of the Batavia community, passed away Friday evening at 2 o'clock in Batavia. She had been in poor health for the past ten years and seriously ill for the past week.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Campbell Funeral Home in Batavia, in charge of Rev. G. W. Baker, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Batavia cemetery.

Mrs. Susan Elizabeth KRAMER was born in Wapello county on March 12, 1868 and had lived her entire life in the Batavia community. She was married on November 5, 1890 to Henry (sic - Christopher Henry) KRAMER. She was a member of the Batavia Methodist church and an active worker in that congregation since its organization. She taught a Sunday School class for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Henry KRAMER, and one brother W. B. MORRISON of Eldon. A son and daughter preceded her in death, dying in infancy.
