Claude Alvin KOONS, eldest son of Allen and Manda KOONS, born Jan. 23, 1883, in Batavia, Iowa; died at his home in Centerville May 3, 1916, age 33-3-10.

Married Maude WAGNER Oct. 20, 1907; one son. Carroll, now five years of age. Member Church of the Brethren, baptized Oct. 29, 1911. Five years ago moved to Udell, on Dec. 1, 1915 to Centerville, employed by Centerville Light & Traction Company as Motorman on the street railway system. Cerebral hemorrhage.

Leaves wife and son, father and mother, one sister Marie, and Grandma BLOSSER, all of Batavia.... Interment in Batavia Cemetery.
