Charles HOOD, 74, former storekeeper at Abingdon, died Sun. at his home in Batavia.

Survived by wife Mary, two sons, Merle and Otto, both of Ottumwa, a sister Mrs. L. A. PATTERSON of Abingdon, and three brothers: Otis of Conway, Iowa; Willis of Des Moines, and Ernest of Pueblo. Col. Preceded in death by one sister. Bur. Batavia.
