Elsie L. HENDERSON, daughter of John and Mary SIMMONS, born June 13, 1858, near Batavia, Jefferson County, died Dec. 22, 1926, aged 68-6-9.

Sept. 29, 1875, married Agrippa HENDERSON who died 3 1/2 years ago. Six children, five sons and one daughter. One son, Harvey Milton died Jan. 11, 1922. Living are: Wm. C. of Ottumwa; Bertrum M., Clarence A., Walker Roy and Mrs. Wm. DeWALD, all of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two grgrchn, two sisters, Mrs. Mary VAUGHN of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Sarah MANNING of Ruthven, Iowa, and one brother Samuel SIMMONS of Granado, Minn. Member M.E. Church. Interment in Batavia Cemetery.
