Mrs. Sarah Jane McKinstry died Sat. afternoon at her home in Dutch Creek township, seven miles west of Washington. Buried New Haven Cemetery. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McCracken, born Clinton County, Ohio, Aug 17 1845. Came with her parents to Iowa in 1856, the family locating on a farm near Brighton. Married John McKinstry at Pleasant Plain July 2 1863 [sic]. Survived by husband and three children.....
