Joseph L. HALL died last night at his home 705 W. Lowe St. Pneumonia. Bur. Batavia.

Born Jan. 19, 1870, in Fulton Co., Ill., son of Geo. & Martha HALL. About 30 years ago they came to Iowa and located near Batavia. Married Mrs. Jane BRADSHAW GREENLAND Apr. 23, 1900. She survives.

Four children: Maude, Claude, Hollis and Mrs. Perry FRESHWATER all of Fairfield. Leaves one stepson Lemuel GREENLAND of Burlington. Also leaves two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Margaret McBRIDE of Batavia; Mrs. John KITCHEN of Fairview, Ill., and Truman HALL of London Mills, Ill.; also one grandson, Adrian FRESHWATER.
