Obit. John Edgar GORMAN, born Nov. 5, 1853, near Ioka, Iowa, in Keokuk County, died June 2, 1928, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lawrence SHAW at Ottumwa. Pneumonia.

He was one of ten brothers and sisters, only four of whom remain: Lee of Chicago, Bert of Clinton, James of Batavia, and Mary SHAW of Ottumwa. In 1898 married Elizabeth CONLEY of St. Louis.... Bapt. Ch.... Age 74-6-27.

Interment in Batavia Cemetery beside his father, mother, and two brothers, Willis and Charles. Pall bearers were his nephews: Ross, Sam, Russell, Glen and Clarence GORMAN, and Harold MESSER.
