BATAVIA. Mrs. Sarah L. FORNEY, 56, wife of John E. FORNEY, died at her home here Fri. Batavia Cemetery.
Born at Libertyville and lived entire life in Libertyville and Batavia communities. Survived by husband, two daughters, Mrs. Helen DUNNETTE of Fairfield, and Mrs. Genieve PHILLIPS of Marshalltown; five sons, Carroll and Kermit of Ottumwa; Kenneth, Arnold, and Woodrow at home; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle FORNEY of Fairfield; Mrs. Ethel MORRISON of Batavia; and Mrs. Madge COOK of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Lee IVANS of Bandon, Ore., and Rawleigh IVANS of Ferndale, Calif.; one half-brother, Wm. E. PORTER of Ottumwa, and 11 grandchildren. One son, Milton, died 11 years ago. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur IVANS of Leon, George IVANS of Batavia, and Marcus in Agency.
