D. M. PEEBLER, OLDEST NATIVE OF IOWA, DEAD. Pioneer will be laid to rest in Libertyville on Wednesday.
Livermore, Ia.—Jan. 15. Funeral services for M. D. PEEBLER, 96, believed to be the oldest native born resident of Iowa, will be held here at 2:30 p.m. today. Burial will be at Libertyville, Iowa, Wednesday. Mr. PEEBLER died here Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. M. WIGGINS, after a month’s illness. He would have been 97 years old next month. Mr. Peebler was born at Fort Madison, Iowa, February 9, 1838. He had lived here the last eleven years. Mr. PEEBLER is survived by a number of relatives in Jefferson County, both in Fairfield and in Libertyville.
