BATAVIA. Allen F. DAVIS, 94, died at 8:05 a.m. today at the Good Samaritan Home near Ottumwa. Born Feb. 5, 1870, at Mystic, Iowa, son of Gad and Jane DAVIS.

He had farmed for many years in Wapello County until moving to Batavia in 1937. Member Bladensburg Christian Church. Married to the former Cora May HANDY who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Glenn WILLHOIT, Batavia; two sons, Roy of Agency and Ray of Eldon; along with 10 grandchildren and 22 grgrchn.
