FARM COMBINE DEATH
Marvin CHAPMAN, 45, whose farm is south of Fairfield..... In addition to farming, CHAPMAN was also employed at the Michigan-Wisconsin Pipe Line Co. pumping station north of Birmingham as a maintenance man. The home is on R.3, five miles south of Fairfield on Highway 1. Behner Funeral Home.
Marvin LeRoy CHAPMAN was born June 6, 1925, at Claremont, Minn., son of Harvey and Melva Maria FRANCIS CHAPMAN. Spent most of his life in Jefferson County and grad Batavia HS. Married July 2, 1945, in Fairfield, Lucille RUGGLES. Member First Bapt. Church in Fairfield.
Survived by widow, two children, Mrs. Shirley Ann RUDE, Fairfield, and Wayne Edward CHAPMAN, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey CHAPMAN, R.3, one grandson, and a brother, Donald CHAPMAN, Fairfield. Preceded in death by a sister.
