OBITUARY

MRS. W. W. BENNETT

Laura FAUCETT (sic - FAWCETT), daughter of Jane and Phineas FAUCETT was born Fairfield, Ia., May 15, 1855 and departed this life at her home 903 South Fifth street Sept. 30, 1935.

She lived the early part of her life in Fairfield where she tenderly cared for her father in his declining years.

On Dec. 19, 1904 she was married to Joshua J. ROBINSON of Brush, Colorado, where they made their home until Feb. 22, 1912 when Mr. ROBINSON passed away. On March 27, 1919 Mrs. ROBINSON was married to Wesley W. BENNETT at Fairfield, Ia., where they have since then made their home.

She is survived by her husband, a step-daughter, Mrs. Anna YOUNG of David City, Neb., Mrs. Edith HILL, Harry and Emma CLOVER nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of the FAUCETT family being preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, also one half-brother and a half-sister. Mrs. BENNETT was converted in early life and united with the Methodist church in which connection she was faithful to the end.

Funeral services were held from the Hoskins funeral home Wednesday morning conducted by Dr. U. S. Smith. Mrs. Frank Pierson and Mrs. L. W. Van Nostrand sang "Going Down The Valley" and 'Abide With Me.' The pallbearers were Geo. Robinson, Ed Miller, Joe Hickenbottom, T. B .Short, Arthur Long and John Long. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.

BENNETT WILL IS PLACED ON FILE

The late Mrs .Laura F. BENNETT left all of her property to her husband, W. W. BENNETT, according to the terms of the will now on file in the office of J. N. Calhoun, clerk of the Jefferson county district court. At Mr. BENNETT's death, whatever may be left of the estate is to go to a niece, Mrs. Edith HILL of Fairfield, according to the will.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Lot Old.P.217, without a gravestone. Her first husband, Joshua, is buried in Brush, CO, and she is noted on his gravestone there. Second husband Wesley is buried in Batavia Cemetery; Laura was his third wife.
