Obit. William Abel ARMSTRONG, son of Samuel and Katherine ARMSTRONG, was born May 30, 1845, on a farm near Batavia, died Apr. 15, 1928, at the home of his brother-in-law, James B. ALVERSON, aged 82-10-16.

When a young man united with the Bapt. Church at Brookville. Married Mary E. ALVERSON Feb. 15, 1866. Together they resided on a farm near his birthplace for the major part of their lives. No children, but a nephew, Floyd A. WELLS was reared in their home.... wife died Apr. 6, 1921. Three sisters have passed on. One brother, John D. ARMSTRONG of Dixon, Ill., remains. Good citizen. Kindly neighbor. Batavia Cemetery.
