Mrs. Mary E. (ALFRED) MULLENIX died at her home in Los Angeles, Calif., Jan. 16, 1921. Born near Batavia, Iowa, Nov. 29, 1865. Age 55-1-17. Married A. B. MULLENIX at Fairfield Sept. 30, 1885; three sons, Edwin C. of Los Angeles, Calif., Frank C. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Augustus R. of Fairfield, Iowa. Member Christian Church at Eldon.
Leaves husband and children; two grandchildren, Asher B. Jr., and Glen of this city; her mother, Mrs. Hannah ALFRED of Batavia, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Emma BROWN of Batavia, Iowa; five brothers, Ed L. ALFRED of Batavia; Geo. C. ALFRED of Ottumwa; W. J. ALFRED of Bernhart; James C. ALFRED of Fairfield, and S. C. ALFRED of Eldon, Iowa. Interment in the Fairfield Cemetery. (Evergreen - see MULLENIX).
