Mary Susan NACE, born Oct. 1, 1871, at Abingdon, Iowa; died at her home in Batavia Oct. 4, 1928 aged 57 y. 3 d.
When three years of age she with her parents moved to Fairfield, Neb., where she resided until she was 10. Her father died in 1882 at which time her mother and the rest of the family moved to Batavia, Iowa, residing there three years, then they moved to Agency, Iowa, where she resided until she was married Jan. 10, 1894 to Edd L. ALFRED.
Two children: Harry of Chariton, Iowa, and Mrs. Helen CREMER of Batavia, Iowa. Both survive with husband, two sisters, Mrs. Emery GOFF of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mrs. Cecil DIXON of Ottumwa, Iowa; two brothers, Eldon NACE of Villisca, Iowa, and Wilbur NACE of Farson, Iowa; one grandchild, Leonard ALFRED of Chariton. Member Christian Church of Batavia; OES. Bur. New Batavia Cemetery.
