Mr. Olaf ANDERSON, who died last Saturday morning at the family residence 5½ miles east of Fairfield, was a native of Sweden. Born in the Province of Keelmar Aug. 19, 1825, being in the 85th year of his age at the time of his death.

In 1859 married Miss Charlotte ANDERSON. Seven children: four living -- two sons and two daughters. The oldest, a daughter, still resides in Sweden.

In 1882 the family came to America, settling in the vicinity of Lockridge, Jefferson County. Thirteen years ago the family came to the vicinity of Beckwith, where they have since resided. The mother passed away 22 years ago.... Swedish Lutheran Church. Remains laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery, two miles south of Lockridge.
