FairfieldOn Sunday, September 28, Nan Druet BURCHETTE CAMERON, 88, long-time resident of fairfield, Iowa, passed away peacefuly in Lone Tree, Iowa, with her adoring husband Gary and devoted daughter Druet at her side (note: in Johnson Co., IA). Raised in Bloomfield, Iowa, where she met the love of her life, Gary, Nan was educated locally and at the Quaker school George School in Pennsylvania. As a young wife she settled with her family in Fairfield where she was an active community supporter, joining and leading many civic organizations. Nan travelled and read widely. She was known for her style and flair for entertaining. Nan will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.
There will be no service at her request. Special thanks go to the wonderful caring staff at the Lone Tree Health Care Center and Moments Hospice as well as the folks at Addington Place of Fairfield and the Jefferson County Health Center.

Nan was preceded by her parents and Gary's parents, her brother Peter (wife Kay and daughter LuAnn), daughter Josephine (and husband Emmet BURDASH), and son Streetar. Surviving her are husband Gary, daughter Druet KLUGH, daughter-in-law Christine, nephews Joshua (Chelsea) and Nathan (Julia) BURCHETTE; four granddaughters, Rebecca (Rodolfo) d'ARBELLES, Emily (Marc) MATUSKA, Elizabeth (Benjamin) SHERIDAN and Ashley BURDASH; and seven great-grandchildren.
