Mrs. Mary E. JAY, 90, died at 11 a.m., today at the Jefferson County Hospital. Her home is at 306 E. Washington.
The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where arrangements are pending.

Last rites for Mrs. Mary E. JAY, 90, longtime Fairfield resident, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Mrs. JAY, 306 E. Washington, died Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Basil Tadlock. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. JAY was born Dec. 5, 1884 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Frank and Anna CALHOUN BALL. She was married Nov. 16, 1910, to Carl W. JAY. He died Oct. 27, 1953.
Mrs. JAY was a member of the United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Howard BACKSEN, Marion; and Mrs. Katharine BOOS of Arizona. One sister is deceased.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF MARY BALL JAY, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 21ST DAY OF JULY, 1975, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MARY BALL JAY, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 24TH DAY OF APRIL, 1971, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT M. ALYN BACKSEN WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
