Charles H. JACQUES (sic), 71, 505 N. Main, died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital after a serious illness of three weeks.
The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where arrangements are pending.
He was born March 22, 1899 at Eldon, the son of William and Nettie Ann HUFFMAN JAQUES. His wife, Agnes, died in 1947. They were married in 1939.
A retired molder, he lived in Fairfield most of his life. He is survived by one son, Jerald JACQUES of Littleton, Colo., one daughter, Mrs. Betty POWERS of Rock Island, Ill., eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie THOMA of Fairfield and Mrs. Irene HARRELL of Gowrie.

Funeral services for Charles JAQUES, who died Friday morning at the Jefferson County Hospital will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
The Rev. Larry Gilmore will officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
