Funeral Services Will Be Held Thursday Afternoon From The HomeJ. F. JAMES passed away last evening at 7:15 oclock at the Jefferson County hospital, where he had been for the past two weeks. He had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 oclock, conducted by Rev. R. H. Polly. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. JAMES was born in Henry county November 17, 1856. He was married to Miss Martha FREEMAN at Keosauqua on August 12, 1892. They lived at Farmington and Buxton previous to their moving to Fairfield 13 years ago. Mr. JAMES was employed for several years at the Turney Wagon factory. He is survived by his wife and one grandchild, and three brothers. A daughter Mrs. Lester HARPER preceded him in death.
