MRS. G. ISRAEL PASSES AWAY

Mrs. George ISRAEL, 76, resident of Fairfield for the past 38 years, passed away this morning at 4:00 at her home, 407 W. Burlington Street. She had been seriously ill for the past week.

She was the only daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth CHRISTIAN, and was born July 27, 1867 in Van Buren county, Ia. In 1884 she was united in marriage to George ISRAEL, who passed away in 1931. She was also preceded in death by a daughter who passed away in 1911.

Surviving are two sons, Charles ISRAEL of Fairfield, and Clifton ISRAEL of Libertyville.

Mrs. ISRAEL was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home, in charge of Rev. A. P. Keast. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
