Stricken in Young Manhood.

Harry E., youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert ISRAEL, died at Kansas City, Mo., early Friday morning. At his bedside in his last sad moments were his father and mother and sister, Mrs. F. A. SPIELMAN. He had been ill for several weeks with typhoid fever and his condition seemed to forbid his removal home. The body was brought to this city Friday evening and interred in Evergreen cemetery Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. V. Whitten, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal church, in which church the deceased had been baptized several years ago.

Harry E. ISRAEL was born in Richland, June 21st, 1882, though the years of childhood and young manhood were passed in this city. He was a wholesome, manly young fellow, with a character which gave him standing among his acquaintances and elders, and a name that was stainless. His death seems peculiarly sad, coming just as he was entering on a career of usefulness, and when life seemed brightest and best to him. He will be mourned in this community and many expressions of sympathy will go out to his bereaved family.

Harry ISRAEL Dead.

One of the saddest things in life is the parting with friends. A last farewell and it is sure to come too when we are not looking for it. The pet of the family is so often the one called for. Last Friday morning at three o'clock Harry ISRAEL, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert ISRAEL, died in Kansas City, Mo., of typhoid fever. He was in his 22nd. year, was born in Richland. He went to Kansas City a few months ago and was a clerk in a large department store, liked his work and was well thought of by the proprietor of the store, was sick about two weeks before he quit work. Every thing that parents and friends could do was done for him but death came. We were not personally acquainted with him just simply knew him, but those who knew him best speak very highly of him as having been a fine young man, nice clean character, a manly young man. We sympathize with his parents, brother and sisters in their affliction and pray God's blessing to rest on them. The remains were brought to this city Friday evening and funeral services were held from his parents home Saturday evening at 4 o'clock conducted by Rev. Whittan.

His father, mother, sister and Fred SPEILMAN were with him until the last.
