Well Known Fairfield Resident Passed Away Unexpectedly TodayGeorge H. ISRAEL, former in the Israel and Bowers, real estate company died this afternoon about three o'clock at his homee (sic) 407 W. Burlington. He had been feeling poorly only since noon.
Mr. and Mrs. ISRAEL have two sons Charles at home, and Cliff at Libertyville, one daughter preceded him in death. He also leaves several brothers and sisters.
The body was taken to the Campbell funeral home this afternoon. Further arrangements concerning the funeral will be published tomorrow.

Dr. U.. S. (sic) Smith of the First Methodist church will have charge of the services. Interment will take place in Evergreen cemetery.

Services For Well Known Fairfield Man Held Here YesterdayMany relatives and friends paid tribute to the memory of George H. ISRAEL, who died suddenly at his home here Wednesday, at the funeral services yesterday. Dr. U. S. Smith officiated at the last rites at the Campbell Funeral home at 4 o'clock.
Maurice Long and Mrs. Hugh Campbell sang "Going Down the Valley" and "That Beautiful Land' accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Frank Pierson. The floral offerings were beautiful and profuse. The casket attendants were G. T. McKee, G. G. Bowers, Charles E. Wheatley, Y. F. Knerr, Roy Williams and Stanley Kerr. Interment took place in the Evergreen cemetery.
Those from a distance who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Sherman HOLLENBECK Mr. and Mrs. Edgar HOLLENBECK Mr. and Mrs. George ISRAEL, Mr and Mrs. Charles ISRAEL and Mr. and Mrs. Fred ISRAEL of Eldon; Mrs. Ella Hildebrand of Hillsboro; Mrs. John ISRAEL, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth ISRAEL and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Keck of Keosauqua; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Joe Easter of Bonaparte; and W. F. Proper and son Don of San Diego, Calif.
