CARD OF THANKS

We desire to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our neighbors and friends who were so kind to us during the illness and death of our beloved daughter and sister. The kindnesses shown us at this time will never be forgotten. For the beautiful floral offerings we especially thank the donors.

Death of Carrie ISRAEL.

Miss Carrie ISRAEL died at her home on West Jefferson street Sabbath afternoon after a two months' illness with pneumonia and complications. Her suffering was great but she was patient and thoughtful of others through it all. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment made in Evergreen cemetery.

Carrie E. ISRAEL, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs George ISRAEL, was born at Bonaparte, Iowa, March 13, 1888. They came to Fairfield about four years ago to make their home. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Charles and Clifton.
