Emma IRWIN dies

Emma A. IRWIN of DeKalb, Ill., former Fairfield resident, died Tuesday at a hospital in Kentucky.

The body will be returned to Iowa for funeral services. Arrangements are pending.

Emma IRWIN rites Saturday

Services for Emma A. IRWIN, 75, of London, Ky., former Fairfield resident, who died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in London, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Mrs. IRWIN was born Aug. 1, 1910 (sic - 1908) in Brighton, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth KELBOURN JEFFERY, and was reared and educated in the Fairfield community. She married George IRWIN, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy TATRO of DeKalb, Ill.; a son, George Jr. of Granite City, Ill.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary MESSER of Omaha, Neb., nieces and nephews.
