DONALD DEAN EMMACK
Nixa, MO

Donald Dean EMMACK, born June 28, 1934, to Leo and Alice EMMACK, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2925, at Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa, MO. He was 90 years old.

Don was married to his beloved wife, Laura Annie EMMACK, on December 27, 1968. Together, they raised their son, Donald Sinclair EMMACK. Don was born to Leo and Alice EMMACK at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, IA, and was one of seven siblings: Lucille, Dorothy, Bill, Jerry, Bettye, and Dennis.

Raised in a farming community in Iowa, Don was active in school and worked diligently on the family farm. He later moved to California, where he began his career at Long Beach Spring and Forge as an automotive blacksmith, eventually rising to shop foreman for production and operations. Don and Laura later purchased the company, successfully managing it until their retirement.

In retirement, Don and Laura relocated to Springfield, MO, to be near their son, Donald, his wife, Julie, and their grandsons, Donnie and Trent. Don was a devoted member of River of Life Lutheran Church in Rogersville and later attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in both Springfield and Nixa.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery on May 23, 2025, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that charitable donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Least of These Food Pantry. Don was preceded in death by his parents; his four siblings, Lucille SHERFY, Bill EMMACK, Bettye KANE, and Jerry EMMACK.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Laura, their son, Donald and his wife, Julie, son Donnie and his wife, Katie, and son Trent. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy WEBB of Fairfield, IA; brother, Dennis (Barb) EMMACK of Independence, MO; two sisters-in-law, Betty EMMACK of Wheat Ridge, CO and Janet EMMACK of Edinburgh, IN; brother-in-law, Dick KANE of Sun Lakes, AZ, as well as many extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

His warmth, dedication, and steafast spirit touched countless lives.
