FRANK IRELAND RITES SUNDAY

Frank H. IRELAND passed away this morning at 12:20 a.m. at his home in Batavia following a serious illness of six months. He had been in failing health two years.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hoskins Funeral Home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. IRELAND was born June 9, 1882 in Iowa and moved from a farm bnear Packwood to Batavia in March of this year. His wife preceded him in death on June 17, 1938.

Surviving are six children: Dale, Joan and Junior, at home; Paul and Marilyn of Moline, Illinois and Charles, overseas; three brothers Roll IRELAND, Fred IRELAND and Charles IRELAND, all of Fairfield and five sisters: Mesdames Ruby PATTERSON and Ruth ADAMS of Keokuk, Sam ANDERSON of Ottumwa, Frank BRADFIELD of Tacoma Park, Maryland and Guy BAKER of Fairfield.

Mrs. Walter Young and Mrs. Robert Nevins of Ottumwa were dinner guests in the BAKER home. They came to attend the funeral services of their brother and uncle, Frank IRELAND held at the Hoskins Funeral Home. ...

Public Notice Is Hereby Given:

That the undersigned has this day been appointed and commissioned by the District Court of Jefferson County, in the State of Iowa, administrator of the estate of Frank H. IRELAND, Deceased.

All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified to file them with the Clerk of said court, clearly stated and duly sworn to, and within legal time, preparatory to their being allowed or proved, and persons owing said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and avoid costs.
