MRS. ETTA HUSTON DIED AT OSKALOOSA

Mrs. Etta HUSTON passed away, Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. FLOWER, in Oskaloosa (note: in Mahaska Co., IA). The remains will be brought here this evening. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morining at 10 o'clock from the O. E. Kirby home, on West Briggs street. Interment will be made in the Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. HUSTON spent the most of her life in Fairfield, moving here with her parents from Monmouth, Illinois, when a little girl. For some time Mrs. HUSTON has made her home with Mrs. O. P. FLOWER, in Oskaloosa. For the past year she had been in very poor health and her death was due to Bright's disease.

She leaves to mourn her loss, three children: Hugh HUSTON, of Oklahoma; Ralph HUSTON, of Lansing, Michigan, and Mrs. O. P. FLOWER, of Oskaloosa.

HUSTON FUNERAL TODAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Etta HUSTON were held from the O. E. Kirby home, this morning, at 10 o'clock, in charge of Rev. H. A. Messer. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.

Etta CHASE was born in Monmouth, Illinois, January 1, 1859(.) She moved with her parents to Jefferson county when a small girl and spent the most of her life here. She was united in marriage with John HUSTON and to this union were born three children: Hugh, of Oskaloosa, Ralph of Lansing, Michigan, and Mrs. O. P. FLOWER of Oskaloosa, all of whom survive their mother.

Mrs. HUSTON had for some time made her home with her daughter, Mrs. O. P. FLOWER, of Oskaloosa, and passed away at her home after a several months illness.

Besides her sorrowing children she is survived by one brother, Chester CHASE.

LIFE OF MRS. ETTA HUSTON

Etta Ann CHASE, daughter of James H. and Elizabeth CHASE, was born in Berwick, Illinois, December 28, 1857 (sic). She moved to Jefferson county when about 20 years of age and sent (sic) the most of the remainer of her life here(.)

On August 26, 1880 she was united in marriage with John HUSTON, who preceded her in death several years ago. For the past year she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. O. P. FLOWER, at Oskaloosa, and passed away at her home there, April 19th, after an illness extending over several months. Mrs. HUSTON was for many years a faithful member of the Presbyterian church.

There remains to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. Linna H. FLOWER, of Oskaloosa, and two sons, Hugh HUSTON, of Enid, Oklahoma, and Ralph HUSTON, of East Lansing, Michigan.

Funeral services were held from the O. E. Kirby residence, Tuesday morning, at 10 o'clock, in charge of Rev. H. A. Anspach.
