John HUPP, 76, Taken In Death

LIBERTYVILLE -- John R. HUPP, 76, retired Libertyville farmer, died Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Sunnyslope Extended Care Center in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA). He entered Ottumwa Hospital May 27 and was admitted to the Care Center June 16.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield in charge of Rev. Larry Gilmore. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

HUPP was born May 4, 1893 near Cross Lanes, the son of Joseph D. and Sarah Belle CURRAY HUPP. He was married to Mabel CARLSON Jan. 19, 1926.

Surviving are his widow and three children: Glen HUPP, Ottumwa; Raymond HUPP, Libertyville; and Mrs. Doris TOTEMEIER, New London.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two brothers, William and Claude HUPP, both of rural Batavia. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Libertyville United Methodist Church and the American Legion.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of John R. HUPP, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of John R. HUPP Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 21st day of July, 1969, the Last Will and Testament of John R. HUPP deceased bearing date of the 19th day of October, 1960 was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Glenn J. HUPP and Raymond J. HUPP were appointed executors of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
