Frank CHALUPA Dies Near Pleasant Plain

Frank CHALUPA, farmer, died at his home two miles west of Pleasant Plain shortly after midnight last night. He had suffered a heart attack a month ago but was able to be about in his usual manner the last few weeks.

The body is at the Omer Hoskins Funeral home in Brighton and funeral services are pending.

Frank CHALUPA, son of Joseph and Frances HOAK CHALUPA, was born near Wellman, February 27 (sic - 22nd) 1876. He was married to Catherine HOEFERT February 22, 1905. They went to housekeeping on the farm which has been their home since that time.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Dale TUCKER of New London; Mrs. Wilbur FORBES of Pleasant Plain; one son, Ray of Pleasant Plain; five grandchildren Beverly, Shirley and Dennis CHALUPA; Larry FORBES and Darrell TUCKER; one brother and four sisters.
