Bob MILLHOUSE Jr. was born in Germany on May 19, 1956, he was a son to the late Robert and Shirley MACKON MILLHOUSE. In his early life Bob's family moved frequently, he completed his 8th grade in Fairfield and went on to Job Corp for Auto Mechanics in South Dakota where he eventually obtained his GED. He entered the workforce early and dedicated many years of hard work at Iowa Malleable in Fairfield until its closure. He then transitioned to Falco and Louden Machine, and later, he spent two decades as a welder at John Deere Ottumwa Works, until his well-deserved retirement.
Bob's life outside of work was marked by his involvement with his beloved grandchildren, passing on his knowledge and joy. His hands were rarely idle, as he was both a skilled woodworker and a fixer of all things. The great outdoors brought him immense pleasure; he was an enthusiast of boating, fishing, and camping, embracing the beauty of nature at every opportunity.
His laughter and stories around the campfire will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by friends and family. Robert's unwavering work ethic, his love for life, and the warmth of his company left a lasting impresssion that will be treasured forever.
