HINKHOUSE Rites Set

Mrs. Frances HINKHOUSE, 78, retired Parsons College faculty member, died Wednesday at 6.10 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been a patient there for 18 days.

A resident of Fairfield since 1924, Mrs. HINKHOUSE made her home at 308 E. Lowe. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Dilley officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church Saturday at 9 a.m.

Mrs. HINKHOUSE was born Sept. 13, 1895 at Aledo, Ill., the daughter of James and Clara PATTERSON DOOL. She graduated from Parsons College in 1917 and took graduate work at Columbia University. She was also a high school teacher at Winfield and Greenfield.

She was married to Fred G. HINKHOUSE (sic - Fred Junkin HINKHOUSE) Dec. 30, 1924. A long-time member of the Parsons faculty, he preceded his wife in death in 1956.

Mrs. HINKHOUSE served in the English department at Parsons from 1941 until 1962 when she was named associate professor emeritus of English.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Margaret KILLIAN, Muscatine; and James F. HINKHOUSE, Atlanta, Ga. Seven grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, PEO Chapter HA, the American Association of University Women, Wit and Wisdom Club and Delta Zeta Sorority.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF FRANCES M. HINKHOUSE DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 12TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1974, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF FRANCES M. HINKHOUSE DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 13TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1963, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JAMES F. HINKHOUSE WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
