DEATH TAKES MRS. HESTON

Mrs. James HESTON, 65, life-time resident of Jefferson county, passed away at 7:30 a.m. today at the Jefferson county hospital after an illness of 10 weeks. Her home is at 700 W. Hempstead street.

Last rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth HESTON was born November 4, 1882, in Jefferson county. Her maiden name was FOWLER. She was united in marriage to ames (sic - James) HESTON, who preceded her in death September 15, 1945.

Mrs. HESTON is survived by the following children: Robert, Clear Lake; Mrs. Maud GRAMMAR, Ottumwa; Glen, Richland; and Harry, Fairfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Addie CLARK, Long Beach, California, and Miss Anna FOWLER, Muscatine; and a brother, Fred FOWLER, Muscatine. A daughter, Mildred, preceded her in death 21 years ago.
