Death Takes Mrs. HESTON

Last rites will be Monday for Mrs. Louis A. HESTON, 81, who died suddenly about 12:50 p.m. Friday at her home, 207 E. Broadway.

The services Monday will be at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Melburn Sorensen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Bertie CARL was born May 3, 1892, in Jefferson County north of Fairfield. She was the daughter of Chester and Sierra Nevada SIMMONS CARL, and was reared and educated in Jefferson County.

Her marriage to Louis A. HESTON took place Nov. 18, 1914, at Bloomfield. He died Nov. 11, 1968.

Mrs. HESTON attended the Nazarene Church, she was a member of the D.A.R., and had served as chairman of the Jefferson County Gray Ladies for 15 years. She was presented a certificate as an outstanding Civic Leader of America in 1967.

Mrs. HESTON is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mark BAKER, Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, a sister and two brothers, one of them a twin.
