HedrickJamison "James" Grant LEATHERS, 38, of Hedrick, IA passed away on July 8, 2024, at his home. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A small family service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.cranstonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
James was born in Fairfield Iowa at Jefferson County Hospital on July 14, 1985, to his parents, Bill LEATHERS Jr., and Renee ULIN. James attended school in the Fairfield School district. He had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend.
James was a very creative soul, who enjoyed working with his hands. He always had unique and creative projects. He enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with engines. James also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, hiking, and all of God's creation
James will be dearly missed by his family and friends. We celebrate that he is at peace with is Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
James is survived by his mother Renee ULIN; his stepfather Bruce ULIN; his fianceé, Hayley HENDERSON; his sister Bethany MAY; his brother Matt, (Denisse) LEATHERS; his stepbrother Derek ULIN; his stepsister Holly, (Zach) DUNLAVY; his children Landon, Callie, Haley, Liam ULIN and Abel COPPLE; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Bill LEATHERS Jr.; his grandparents on both his mother's side and father's side; his uncle Tim COX; his uncle Dave LEATHERS; his aunt Fran COX, and his aunt Nancy LEATHERS.
