Death came early this morning to Mrs. Grace HENRY, 80, a resident of Jefferson county for 50 years. She passed away at the McCleary nursing home in Fairfield at 3:30 a.m.
Mrs. HENRY had been in failing health the past five years and a patient at the home for a year and a half.
Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. C. R. Douglass in charge. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
Grace Darling HENRY was born June 3, 1869, at Highland Center, Iowa, the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth GODFREY LENTNER. She was united in marriage on March 10, 1888, at Highland Center to George HENRY. He passed away May 24, 1923 (sic - May 23).
Mrs. HENRY was a member of the Presbyterian church and had lived in this county for half a century.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bert KANN, Fairfield; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. John COMBS, Des Moines; and a brother, Norton LENTNER, Brainard (sic - Brainerd), Minnesota.
Two daughters preceded her in death.

They will remain to spend the holidays with their respective parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. COUNTRYMAN and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. NELSON. ...
