HIRAM HARRELL DIED SUDDENLY THIS MORNING

Lived with his son, W. C. HARRELL, at 902 East Burlington street

Hiram D. HARRELL, who has been a resident of this city for the past 25 years, died suddenly at the home of his son, W. C. HARRELL, 902 East Burlington street, at 6:45 a.m. this morning.

Mr. HARRELL was born May 10, 1855, in Milton, Iowa. He was a former railroad man. He came to Fairfield 25 years ago from St. Charles, Iowa, and for a good many years was an employee at the Dexter company. His wife preceded him in death in 1934.

He is survived by the following three children: W. C. HARRELL of Fairfield; A. W. HARRELL of Savannah, Georgia; and Mrs. J. W. DOWNS of Phoenix, Arizona. A number of grandchildren also survive.

The body is at the Hoskins Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are pending, waiting word from relatives.

Funeral Services For Hiram HARRELL Were Held at 2 p.m. Today

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. for Hiram D. HARRELL, at the Hoskins funeral home. Rev. S. P. Williamson officiated and burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. HARRELL died suddenly early Saturday morning at the home of his son, W. C. HARRELL, 902 East Burlington St.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss:

To all whom it may concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Hiram D. HARRELL, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that Monday, June 1, A. D. 1942 at 9:30 o'clock A. M. has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court, this 6th day of May, 1942.
