Rebecca was born on November 21, 1965, to David & Karen RUSSELL in Fairfield, Iowa. She attended Cardinal High School and went on to obtain her CNA license.
Rebecca married her first husband, Robert SLOAN in 1985 and they were blessed with three children: Jeremy, Amber, and Robert Jay. After the two divorced, Rebecca met her soulmate and the love of her life, Richard DYE in 1994. The two were married in 1999.
Rebecca began her career as a CNA, where her compassionate spirit truly thrived in her 21 years of service. She later joined the Maharishi School family as a Facilities Manager in 2005. For 17 years, Rebecca blessed the school with her humble smile that could put anyone at ease. From children to the elderly, everyone loved Rebecca. Her good nature represented the good that we all need every day in our lives. She was fearless (except when it came to bats) and independent, yet sensitive and kind which left an impact on many. Rebecca retired from Maharishi School in 2022.
Rebecca was an avid lifetime member of the NRA. She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, shooting handguns and clay pigeons with her family. They went on annual trips to many states (including Canada) on their motorcycles.
Rebecca will be greatly missed by her husband Richard DYE; her children, Jeremy (Kelly) SLOAN of rural Drakesville, Amber (Eric) BEAL of rural Agency, and Robert Jay SLOAN of Ottumwa; her grandbabies, Kaylynn & Russell SLOAN of Drakesville, and Marshall GREINER & Carter BEAL of rural Agency; and her stepfather Dick CAMPBELL of Eldon. She is also survived by a sister, Debra (Dan) DURFLINGER of Eldon.
Rebecca was greeted in heaven by her twin brother, Randy RUSSELL (1992) along with her parents, Karen CAMPBELL (2023) and David RUSSELL (1986).
